In a transformative attempt to weed out black money and corruption from public life, the Government of India has constituted a Committee of Officers to enable 100 per cent conversion of Government to Citizen (G2C)Transactions to the digital platform.
The Committee is formed under the leadership of NITI Aayog CEO Mr. Amitabh Kant. The main objective of this committee is to identify and implement in the earliest possible time frame user-friendly digital payment options in all sectors of the economy.
This is an integral part of the Governments strategy to transform India into a cashless economy.

N Chandrasekaran was selected to become the next chairman of Tata Sons in January 2017. He assumed chairmanship on 21 February 2017.
N Chandrasekaran started his career Tata’s IT firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 1987.
He took over as CEO on October 6, 2009, prior to which he was COO and executive director of TCS.
He is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and an active member of Computer Society of India and British Computer Society.
He was voted as the ‘Best CEO’ for the fifth consecutive year by the Institutional Investor’s 2015 Annual All-Asia Executive Team rankings.
