Aditi Ashok won the 2016 Hero Women’s Indian Open

On Nov. 13, 2016, the 18-year-old Aditi Ashok (213 points) became the first Indian to lift the Hero Women’s Indian Open, Women’s Professional Golf tournament in India, at the DLF Golf and Country Club.

A win here also helped her take the top spot in the Rookie of the Year.

Runner up: Brittany Lincicome and Belen Mozo (both got 214 points)

Thai player Kanphanitnan Muangkhumsakul took the fourth spot with a total score of 215, followed by English golfer Florentyna Parker at 216 to complete the top five positions.

Best Indian amateur award went to Diksha Dagar (229 points).
